Background

Glitterbeard is the head banker of The Counting House, a high-security bank found in the Lower City area of Baldur's Gate. He can first be encountered when the player enters the lower vault area of The Counting House, however the player gets there.

Gameplay

When the player first enters the lower area of the Counting House vaults, a cinematic conversation will trigger, which will lead into a combat encounter. Glitterbeard will be pulled into this combat encounter, but is not always hostile to the party.^{[Needs Verification]}
