Act Three[edit | edit source]
When approached, Mirie asks the party if they are here to become Unburdened. She senses that the party members need help and recommends The Unburdening to ease them of their woes. If passing a DC 10 Insight check, it is revealed that she genuinely wants to help but there may be caveats:

To become Unburdened, the party must pay 1,000 gold. Mirie then leads them through the locked doors to the Mapping Room.
If Shadowheart is in the party, Mirie recognizes her and greets her differently depending on her choice to reject or embrace Shar in . Shadowheart states that she wants to see the Mother Superior, but Mirie interjects that she must submit to a Mapping of the Heart first. Mirie then leads the party to the Mapping Room without requiring a fee.
After killing or banishing Viconia DeVir, Mirie communicates remains neutral, but does not trade with the party. However, after freeing or killing Shadowheart's parents, Mirie and the three followers of Shar next to her become aggressive and attack the party.
