The Mortuary is a Location within the Lower City in Act Three of Baldur's Gate 3. It is located on the east end of the graveyard. A locked hatch beside the porch stairs leads to the Mortuary Cellar.

Access[edit | edit source]

The Mortuary can be accessed from the Graveyard (Lower City) on the east end of the graveyard.

Overview[edit | edit source]

On the porch, Anita and Elias Fischer are upset that they can't get a coffin made for their recently deceased child. The party can convince the coffin maker Ulkov Sully, behind the morgue, to make a coffin for the child.

Inside the Mortuary Valmorba can be found, who comments on the killings in the city and the lack of available coffins. On the second floor the Durinbold Mausoleum Key can be found.

Mortuary Cellar[edit | edit source]

The cellar of the Mortuary can be found outside of the building left of the porch stairs. Valmorba has the key.

Inside the Cellar, there are three rooms.

In the first room (entrance) there are the Mortarch's notes on Belynne Stelmane Duke Belynne Stelmane and closed coffins.

The room to the left of it is Valmorba's workshop and contains a Jar of Mystic Carrion's Lungs along with herbs and her notes.

Straight ahead is the embalmer's lab where a body is waiting to be buried.
