Lorroakan is a NPC that you first meet in Act Three of Baldur's Gate 3. He can be found in the Lower City of the city Baldur's Gate, in the Sorcerous Sundries.

Act One

The wizard is first mentioned by Aradin, whom you meet outside of the Druid Grove, where he tells you about the huge sum of money a wizard offered them in exchange for a treasure called The Nightsong. He is also mentioned by Rolan, who is especially proud of the fact that Lorroakan has accepted him as his student, with that being his primary reason for travelling to Baldur's Gate. Gale, however, notes that he's a bit of a cad.

Act Three

Once you arrive in Baldur's Gate, the player is tasked to meet with Lorroakan to find out what he wants with Nightsong. When you arrive in the Sorcerous Sundries, you can find Rolan at the Reception desk with a bloody face. A successful Insight check reveals that despite his cheerful tone, there's something wrong. If asked about the Nightsong, he reveals that many people have come to claim Lorroakan's bounty. He also warns about Lorroakan's temper if you say you have information on the Nightsong.

Heading upstairs, you are greeted by Lorroakan's Projection and sent upstairs, where you have to pick the correct out of four portals to meet the wizard. He continues to question you about the whereabouts of the Nightsong, where you can answer truly or succeed various Ability Checks to deceive him. If you side with Lorroakan, you can collect the 5000 Gold and he can lend his aid for the Gather Your Allies quest. If you side with the Nightsong, you are able to fight him alongside Dame Aylin.
