Overview[edit | edit source]
Ground floor[edit | edit source]
The entrance to Lavernica's Home is just outside the southeast entrance to Bloomridge Park at X: -76 Y: -70. The door is locked, but lockpicking or destroying it does not result in any Attitude losses from any nearby characters.
The sign next to the door identifies Lavernica as the groundskeeper of Bloomridge Park. In the north corner of the room is a Cupboard with a list of Park Keeper's Chores on it, and a
Park Keeper's Journal[1] and
Groundskeeper's Hatch Key inside.
Inside the party can find several dead spiders and a couple of dead Duergar. However, none of these belong to Lavernica herself. Unlike other murder scenes found through quest, there are no symbols of the Absolute on the walls. A hatch in the southern corner of the room is opened with the found key and leads to Groundskeeper's Basement.
Groundskeeper's basement[edit | edit source]
Upon descending into the basement, the party will discover a scene of an outright massacre. On the floor side by side lay several dead Duergar, several Lolth-sworn Drow, a Mind Flayer and even a shattered Earth Elemental.
In the southern wall of the basement there is a massive breach that opens in a huge roundish cave. On the cave's ground, in the centre of ritual circle, lies the body of female Lolth-sworn drow Incontinentia Figgin[2], while bodies of six another drow females are strewn along the walls.[3]
On the Figgin's body the party will find Clown's Severed Leg and one of Orin's Ritual Letters,
Sendai, the Third.[4]
Near the breach stands a Wooden Chest with some gold and a couple of random items inside. Small room to the west is empty, except several stacks of hay. In the corner across the basement ladder the party will find several herbs suitable for Alchemy brewing.
Among the corpses several weapons with +1 enchantment can be found.

Notes an references[edit | edit source]
- ↑ Park Keeper's Journal mentions that its author has noticed some suspicious figures wandering about the park, and pondered over reporting it to the Flaming Fist. This may denote the possible reason for attacking the house, and at the same time may serve as a warning for the party, should they explore the Bloomridge park.
- ↑ This name may be a reference to Monty Python's Life of Brain, in which Incontinentia Buttocks and her husband Biggus Dickus are mentioned. The name Figgin may reference certain
sexual practice.
- ↑ None of the bodies found inside Lavernica's Home and in its basement will yield to spell.
- ↑ The body of another drow (Danfora of the Kingfish) contains another copy of the 'Sendai, the Third' letter. Other from these (she and Figgin), all corpses are empty of any loot.
