Overview[edit | edit source]

Lorroakan's Projection serves guests by providing them information about the Aylin Nightsong, Lorroakan Lorroakan, trading, and even tax collection. Since it is a projected image, it cannot be targeted or attacked. The projection is only present if either Rolan Rolan or Lorroakan Lorroakan is dead, or if they are both upstairs being confronted by Aylin. If Rolan is alive, he takes the place of the projection while Lorroakan remains alive. After Lorroakan has been killed, the projection appears, selling scrolls only. Rolan then takes up residence in Ramazith's Tower, but does not act as a merchant - his magical items must be pickpocketed or looted from his body.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • It is possible to collect taxes from the projection by passing one of several skill checks.
  • Being a projection, it will not react to failed pickpocketing, allowing unlimited attempts and providing a good source to stockpile gold and powerful spells.
    • There are two ways to make pickpocketing the hologram easier:
      • Killing all other characters on the Sorcerous Sundries main floor to remove characters' sightlines makes hiding trivial, though this obviously locks the party out off trading with Tolna Tome-Monger Tolna Tome-Monger permanently. Lorroakan's Projection does not react to this whatsoever, and there are no story repercussions if Find the Nightsong Find the Nightsong has already been completed. The wandering Minor Illusion unfortunately appears to be impossible to remove and may still occasionally break stealth, as it automatically respawns.
      • Hitting Lorroakan's Projection repeatedly using a Wisdom-based spell and Ability Drain to reduce its Wisdom to 1 will dramatically reduce the rolls required for successful pickpockets permanently.
