Old Garlow's Place is a Location within the Lower City in Act Three of Baldur's Gate 3. It is located south of the Waypoint Waypoint Lower City Central Wall on the cliff.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Old Garlow's Place is the new hideout of the Anti-Hag Support Group after their landlord evicted them from Barren's Coop. The property fell into disrepair after the previous owner Garlow left and is now be deemed unsafe for habitation under city law.

Next to the stairs, a hatch at X: -59 Y: -141 allows access to Old Garlow's Basement. The basement is trapped with several explosives and a single pressure plate in the far corner of the hallway. The pressure plate can be activated by adding weight to it to open a wall that leads to a hidden cave. Despite the pressure plate appearing like a trap that can be disarmed, disarming it must be avoided as that renders the cave inaccessible through the wall entrance. However, using an Arrow of Transposition can get the party over the wall if they disarmed the pressure plate.

If Save Mayrina quest failed[edit | edit source]

If Mayrina is never saved in Act One, instead of the Anti-Hag Support Group a group of people called the Dead Eyes occupy Old Garlow's Place instead. They are hostile on sight.
