“You find yourself in the cradle of all knowledge relating to the Underdark: the Society of Brilliance„
Involvement[edit | edit source]
In Baldur's Gate, he can be found inside The Lodge just past the main door. If completing the quest and having the egg in the inventory, then Havkelaag offers to purchase it for 1000 gold to perform an experiment on raising a githyanki child from birth. If having given the egg to his colleague Lady Esther, Havkelaag is dead along with the rest of the members of the Society of Brilliance, having been killed by Ptaris - the child he raised from the egg.
According to the Sword Coast Couriers address book, Havkelaag has a 'philosophical objection' to postal service, and all letters must be address to Golbraith instead.
