Dolor is a serial killer seeking to gain the Bhaalist title of Unholy Assassin by impressing the Murder Tribunal. He is the son of Ffion Goldgrind, who was a sex worker at Sharess' Caress before being murdered by Dolor. He is first encountered under the false name Meztli.

It was perfect... perfectperfectperfect... You have sullied it with knowledge. Made it an unclean sacrifice. I will remember your face.
While most of Dolor's confirmed murders were committed in order to Impress the Murder Tribunal, the murder of his mother -- according to Ffion herself (via Speak with Dead) -- was committed simply because she discovered his "secret." According to Ffion, Dolor enjoys murder, specifically killing people slowly.
Dolor can first be encountered in the Lower City, in a few different ways, including at the "Wine Festival" where he can be found posing as a wine coneisseur (under the alias Master Meztli) in order to poison Cora Highberry. The party can expose him here, triggering a battle with several Doppelgangers, during which he will attempt to flee using his Spaceshunt Boots.
If Dolor was able to flee from the Wine Festival, his next mark will be Figaro Pennygood, owner of Facemaker's Boutique. The party can disturb him mid-assassination and kill him in the ensuing battle. His looted corpse contains the Dirge of the Unholy Assassin, which reveals the location of the Bhaalist Murder Tribunal and the password Sicarius, as well as the Hand Bag with the severed hands required for entry.
If the party independently seeks the Murder Tribunal by becoming an unholy assassin in earnest, Dolor must be fought at the Tribunal as a professional rival. In this case, it is possible to convince Dolor to take up arms against the Murder Tribunal, which will lead to Sarevok Anchev casting Power Word Kill on Dolor, instantly killing him. [url 1]
Alternatively, if the party pickpocketed the Dirge of the Unholy Assassin/Torn and Bloody Page and the Hand Bag from Dolor instead of killing him, Dolor will not be encountered at the Bhaalist Tribunal because without any hands Dolor couldn't attend the Tribunal.
Deal extra damage to a foe you have Advantage against. Also works if you have an ally within 1.5 m / 5 ft of the target and you don't have Disadvantage.
Normal weapon damage
Throw a character or item from the world or your inventory.
Your Strength affects how much weight you can throw. Heavier items deal more damage.
The damage of weapons with the thrown property is the same as the weapon's melee damage.
Dolor typically uses his Spaceshunt Boots to Dimension Door out of the fight at the Wine Festival and then vanishes. This can be Counterspelled, meaning the party can kill him at his initial appearance and avoid a second fight.
To find Dolor at the wine festival, the party must have read any of the Bloodstained Parchments which can be found in several locations.
