Oloric Witmirth is a Human playwright who can be found suffering from writer's block at the Elfsong Tavern.

Involvement

Oloric appears in a list of characters provided as Elfsong Tavern regulars in the tabletop adventure Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus, where he is described as "an impoverished playwright who scribbles his private thoughts and observations in a small book". In Baldur's Gate 3, his fortunes appear unchanged.

Based on the fact that he's sitting at a table with a pamphlet of the House of Grief, Surrender your Burdens, and that he doesn't seem to know whether or not he actually knows the player, it is most likely implied he had his memories removed. The events of Descent into Avernus were probably too traumatic.
