Involvement[edit | edit source]

Lumbar is first encountered near Basilisk Gate Barracks in Baldur's Gate, being punched by 'Logs' Odoolan. After Odoolan leaves, Lumbar can be interacted with where he offers to let you punch him for a small gold fee.

If the party has started Find Mystic Carrion's Servant and realized Lumbar is one of the zombies, the party can ask him where Thrumbo Thrumbo is:

  • [ROGUE] [DECEPTION] Relax, the boss just wanted to give you and Thrumbo a proper send off. Does you need anything? (DC 18)
  • [DECEPTION] Carrion means Thrumbo no harm. He sent me with provisions for his journey. (DC 18)
  • [PALADIN] [CLERIC] [INTIMIDATION] Unless you want me to purge this realm of you and your undead brothers, you'll talk. (DC 18 Advantage Icon.png)
  • [INTIMIDATION] Either you tell me where Thrumbo is, or I drive my fist through your skull. (DC 18)
  • [PERSUASION] Tell me where Thrumbo is, and it'll be like we never met. (DC 18)
