Involvement

Olfaith approaches the party if they kill a name listed on the Bloodstained Parchment or Devella Fountainhead, as part of the quest to Impress the Murder Tribunal. He encourages them to slay more targets and attempt to become an unholy assassin of Bhaal. If the party kills a second murder target from the list, Olfaith will appear again, telling the party to visit Candulhallow's Tombstones and giving them the password: Sicarius.

If the party chooses to attack Olfaith, he will revert to his Doppelganger form. In combat, he is a generic Doppelganger. The Tombstone Shop Key for Candulhallow's Tombstones can be found on his corpse, as well as a letter titled An Unexpected Talent which hints that the Murder Tribunal is hidden within the tombstone shop.

If Olfaith is killed during his first appearance, he will still appear again if the party kills a second target on the list. However, in this appearance he has a different voice actor, implying that this is actually a different Doppelganger who has assumed the same false identity.
