Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act Three[edit | edit source]

Grout can be initially found on the edge of the docks near Philgrave's Mansion and the Heapside Strand waypoint Heapside Strand waypoint X: 22 Y: -135. He is with his date Rossina.

If Grout and Rossina survive the Sahuagin attack on the docks, Grout is horrified at the events and the danger he and Rossina faced. In contrast, Rossina is much more elated.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Grout is one of only two forest gnomes in the entirety of the game.
    • The other forest gnome is none other than his date, Rossina.
  • Grout has a rare and unusual developer comment in the code that's shared with all nearby NPCs in the docks/beach area, simply describing him as "POTENTIAL SIMPLE CHARACTER".
