Alexander Rainforest is a citizen of Baldur's Gate. He was working as an ombudsman in Grey Harbour Docks in Lower City. By the time party reaches Act Three locations, Rainforest is already dead.
Involvement
The corpse of Alexander Rainforest without a hand, empty of any loot, can be found on the second floor of the Rainforest's Home in Lower City (main entrance X: -93 Y: -109), near the bed. Alexander Rainforest is a victim of a serial killer Dolor, who murders people in order to please Bhaal, the God of Murder, and to become his Unholy assassin. Alexander's name can be found on a Bloodstained Parchment among other planned victims, marked Killed. If spoken to with the spell, Alexander's corpse will tell that he has been working for some time on an investigation about pecularities in ownership history of Candulhallow's Tombstones shop. To unveil the truth he watched the place himself, hired agents of the Zhentarim, and eventually became keen on the matter so deeply that even stopped mingling with his friends.
