Golbraith Stredivas is a human who can be found on the first floor of his house in the Lower City. He is loosely based on a fan of Baldur's Gate 3, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's.Cite error: Invalid

Overview
Golbraith is a retired mind flayer hunter, and leading expert on mind flayers and counter-illithid strategies. He is currently dedicating his time to tracking those that have infiltrated the city, having passed the mantle and illithid-hunting responsibilities down to his son.
Involvement
Golbraith is found on the first floor of his home, a building north of The Blushing Mermaid X: -148 Y: -60. If the player reassures him that they know how to deal with mind flayers, he will give them a shield originally gifted to him by Abdel Adrian, 
Abdel's Trusted Shield.[1] However, if the party tells him "You should be out there fighting- not hiding in here!" Golbraith will lament his inability to help his son (due to his age) and demand that the party leave his house.
