Danis is one of the Tiefling Refugees seeking shelter at the Emerald Grove in Act One. He is the husband of Bex.

Involvement
Act One
Danis is usually with Bex at X: 165 Y: 550. If the party interact with him, he shares some of his hopes and dreams for Baldur's Gate. Before arriving at the Grove, he was employed by his father-in-law as a caravan but quit on his third day.
If the party decide to 
, Danis can be found hiding in the Secluded Chamber with other Tieflings. If he survives , he and Bex will join the celebration at the party's Campsite.
If the party travel to the Mountain Pass or Shadow-Cursed Lands before resolving Kagha's 
Rite of Thorns, the Tieflings will be expelled from the Grove and Danis' corpse can be found among the pile of refugees near the bridge to the Blighted Village.
Act Two
If Danis survives through Act One, Bex will reveal to the party at the Last Light Inn that Danis was captured. He can be rescued as part of .
