Moonrise Towers Prison

Moonrise Towers Prison is a Location within Moonrise Towers in Act Two of Baldur's Gate 3. The prison can be found beneath Moonrise Towers in the Shadow-Cursed Lands.

Overview

Several gnome and tiefling prisoners can be freed here. Also, the Oubliette can be reached from here.

Main lobby

The main lobby, with the doors to the docks on the right

Immediately after entering the prison, the party can leave through the nearby doors to reach the main docks, or they can find a small torture room where Questioner Jasin and Questioner Sumera are located. If Minthara survived to Act Two, she appears in the torture room as well.

Prison cells

The prison cells, and the warden's tower to the right

Located after the main lobby area, the main prison area houses several gnomes and tieflings who were captured. Wulbren and his crew are located here, as well as Cal, Danis, Lakrissa, and Lia if they survived to Act Two.

In the center of the prison area is the warden's tower, where The Warden can be found patrolling.

Oubliette entrance

The pit entrance to the Oubliette

On one end of the prison behind the warden's tower, the party can find a red pit which is one of the entrances to the Oubliette. The party can choose to jump in, but cannot jump back out.

Rowboat dock

The rowboat, chained to the dock

Behind the prison cells, there is a wooden dock with a rowboat moored to it. If the prisoners are freed, they head towards the dock while the guards chase them. The prisoners attempt to free the boat by attacking the chains, and if successful they escape on the boat.
