Locations[edit | edit source]
Trail[edit | edit source]
The trail leading to the beach is littered with traps, including mines and tripwires. A dying man is found after the first section, who may be Orin in disguise if she has not been met at least two times prior.
Rivington cove confrontation[edit | edit source]
In the cove near Rivington, the party can encounter members of the Guild, led by Farlin, fighting a band of Stone Lord's thugs, led by Cairos at X: -220 Y: 94. Entering the area causes the party to be dragged into the conflict, where they can either help Farlin or fight both groups. Otherwise, the two groups start fighting if they are left alone for long enough.
If standing back and watching or choosing a neutral path, lets the party support the Guild. As a Bard, suggesting that the conflict be resolved by Flyting[1] causes both sides to become hostile.
The following inspirations can be earned:

If Minsc is present as party member, then some additional dialogue options occur, but it also results in everyone attacking the party.
One Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen can be found atop a barrel at X: -225 Y: 107.
Passageway[edit | edit source]
Along the southern cliff-side is an opening to a passageway at X: -233 Y: 84. This passageway was being used for smuggling by the Stone Lord and his men.
Some paintings and other loot can be found here, along with a trapped chest containing the Bonespike Boots.

Docked at the beach is a ship that sailed in from Moonrise Towers. On the ship is some loot, including two Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen (they disappear after a long rest) at X: -214 Y: 131.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ Flyting is a formal exchange of insults or taunts, often in verse form, typically between two individuals. It is a ritualistic practice of verbal sparring, sometimes found in ancient Norse myths and early English poems. The term evolved from the Norse word "flyta," meaning provocation.
