Story items are Miscellaneous items which are quest specific.

Overview

Normally these items further the plot of the story, allow the player to progress quests, or reveal important new information to the party. Story items will sometimes lose their Story rarity when the quests related to them are completed, however this is not consistent and many items will retain Story rarity even after they are no longer of use.

Story items

Across acts

Story items that can be obtained in multiple acts of the game, either because there are multiple or because the item can appear in different locations depending on how the player progresses quests.

Act One

Act Two

Story items that can be obtained during Act 2.

Act Three

Story items that can be obtained during Act 3.

Any items that allow the player to 'Unlock' objects. Some of these are essential for the completion of certain quests. Many share the same name.
