Runepowder is a magically-imbued explosive that is used as a weapon as well as for demolition purposes.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Runepowder is said to have been invented by Gaerdal Ironhand, and a mere 23 vials was required to repel an entire kobold warband[1]. The secret to its production is a closely kept one, and many outside of the gnomish clans believe it to be an exaggeration or a myth. It has been estimated that each vial of runepowder is more powerful than an entire Smokepowder Barrel[2].
