Religion is an Intelligence-based Skill.

The higher a creature's Intelligence Score, the more likely they will succeed on Religion Checks to recognize religious details.

Proficiency[edit | edit source]

Characters who are proficient in Religion can add their Proficiency Bonus when making Ability checks.

The following backgrounds grant proficiency in Religion:

The following classes can choose to select Religion as a proficient skill at Level 1:

Rangers who choose Sanctified Stalker as a Favoured Enemy gain proficiency in Religion.

Knowledge domain Clerics can choose to gain proficiency in Religion at Level 1. If chosen, they can add double their Proficiency Bonus when making Religion checks.
