The {{SAI|Perception}} skill is used to detect traps and a [[Trap Disarm Toolkit]] along with the [[Sleight of Hand]] skill is used to disarm traps.

A trap is a hidden danger that can cause sudden unwanted conditions and/or damage. A vent that spews toxic gas or a Glyph of Warding: Lightning Glyph of Warding: Lightning that zaps creatures that trip it are both examples of traps. The Perception skill is used to detect traps and a Trap Disarm Toolkit along with the Sleight of Hand skill is used to disarm traps.
