Involvement

Act Two

Drenn can be found at Moonrise Towers undergoing a trial by Ketheric Thorm for her failures, if Minthara or Fezzerk do not survive Act One. Drenn is accompanied by Darra and Racha.

On approaching the throne room in Moonrise Towers, a cutscene is triggered with Ketheric and Z'rell. Drenn claims that she and other subjects of the trial obeyed all orders. She is giving explanations in case if Minthara or Fezzerk are not present.

Z'rell and Ketheric provide their opposing opinion and ask the player character to evaluate the goblins' loyalty to the Absolute. Regardless of the response, Ketheric orders the goblins to be killed. Outraged, Drenn insults Ketheric, snatches a halberd from a guard, and hurls it into Ketheric's chest.

The immortal general rips the weapon from his chest and drops it in front of Drenn, ordering her to "try again". Drenn strikes him in the neck, to no avail, and he smashes Drenn's spine with his bare hands, killing her. Ketheric leaves the hall, ordering Z'rell to dispatch the remaining goblins by the player character's hand.

It is not possible for the party to speak with any of the goblins outside of the cutscene. The player character has several options for deciding their fate. If the party set them free, the surviving goblins flee from Moonrise Towers and disappear.

Notes

• While the trial suggests the subjected goblins were receiving orders and reporting back to Minthara, they seem to belong to the few goblins not fully entangled in the cult of the Absolute. After Drenn attacks Ketheric, Z'rell takes it as a personal mistake and says that "she is an unbeliever and outside her control". Also, in Note to Self carried by Racha, Drenn is referred to as a "faker".
