The Ruined Battlefield is the first location in the Shadow-Cursed Lands in Act Two. This is the location you first arrive in when entering the Shadow-Cursed Lands via Rosymorn Monastery Trail or Grymforge.

Ambushing Shadows

This location contains multiple ambushes by Shadow-Cursed flora and fauna.

• X: 42 Y: 58: Six Shadow-Cursed Needle Blights, two Shadow-Cursed Vine Blights, two Dead Harpers, and a Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound. The ambush can be anticipated by passing a Perception check (DC: 30).
• X: 67 Y: -107: Three Shadow-Cursed Needle Blights and three Shadow-Cursed Vine Blights. The ambush can be anticipated by passing a DC 30 Perception check. These cursed plants guard a locked wooden chest (DC 10) filled with minor random loot.

Shadow-Cursed Raven

A dead raven oozing cursed vapors is found at X: 30 Y: 114. Passing an DC 15 Arcana check will ominously warn away from interacting with the corpse. Choosing to touch the dead bird anyway will provoke a fight with twelve Shadow-Cursed Ravens. Winning the battle and searching the original raven rewards you with the HELP! note.

Oliver's House

Oliver and his shadow-cursed family (Mummy, Daddy, and Doggy) are located in a ruined house at X: 68 Y: 36. An ill-fated Githyanki warrior can be spoken to via Speak with Dead.

Southwest of the house at X: 19 Y: 17, a dead Duergar can be found carrying the Grey Scout's Journal. A buried chest ( DC 10 Survival check) containing minor loot can be found directly beside him. More directly south of the house at X: 42 Y: 0 is another buried chest ( DC 10 Survival check) with minor random loot.

• Luminous Gloves - Inside the Potter's Chest at X: -52 Y: 11.
• Family Ring - The ring can be found in a hole among rocks by following blood tracks, behind a camp in the Ruined BattlefieldX: 108 Y: 128
• Raven Gloves - Obtained by siding with He Who Was during the Punish the Wicked quest.
• Penumbral Armour - In a locked chest in the abandoned house by the river just east of the Last Light Inn at X: 33 Y: 145.
• Ironwood Club - Looted from the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound at X: 40 Y: 60
• Ring of Self Immolation - Looted from a locked Wooden Chest X: 25 Y: 63. If needed, the key is nearby on a skeleton, alongside a note.
• Gloomstrand Shield - Found in a locked chest south of the Tollhouse in the Ruined BattlefieldX: -60 Y: -114.
• Frost Prince - Found in a Gilded Chest to the southeast X: 80 Y: -96, near an ambush of Shadow-Cursed Needle Blights.
• Shadow-Cloaked Ring - Looted from the Shadow Mastiff Alpha at X: -49 Y: 36. The nearby everburning torches must be destroyed before the Mastiff will appear.
• Hammergrim Mist Amulet - Located in a locked chest tucked away in a ruined house, just east of the tollhouse, in the Shadow-Cursed LandsX: -12 Y: -7
• Ring of Twilight - Found inside a Traveler's Chest hidden behind some pots inside a ruined tower in the Ruined Battlefield X: -34 Y: -12.
• Thermoarcanic Gloves
• Ring of Mental Inhibition - Found inside a locked wooden chest in Oliver's house X: 76 Y: 39
