Involvement

If not using  Speak with Animals, it's possible to perform a Nature check on the raven. The narrator will note that the raven is malevolent, and petting them would not be wise. If trying to pet the raven anyway, they will caw and nip at the petting party member's fingers.

If using Speak with Animals, the raven will immediately say "Everyone hates you."; any responses will be met with more cruel statements from the raven (e.g. "You're disgusting. Ugly. Loathsome. You should just shut up and die. Pathetic.").
