About[edit | edit source]
Zombies can be found in various locations in Act Two as well as Act Three. During Act Two, they can be encountered in the House of Healing Morgue as well as the Ancient Lair. In Act Three, they can be raised from the ground in the Graveyard.
Animate Dead[edit | edit source]
In addition, a special Zombie can be created through the spell , a level three spell available to level 5 Clerics, Wizards, and Circle of the Spores Druids. The spell is also available to level 9 Oathbreaker Paladins. The spell can also be cast with a common Scroll of Animate Dead.
This version of the zombie can apply to targets it hits. When a creature dies with the condition active, they raise as a "Newborn Zombie." A Newborn Zombie has 10 HP and takes 1Necrotic damage each turn. A Newborn Zombie otherwise has the same stats as a regular Zombie.
Combat[edit | edit source]
Attacks and abilities[edit | edit source]
Undead Fortitude[edit | edit source]
Due to passive , zombies will come back to life at 1 HP when killed, unless the killing blow was applied with Radiant damage or a critical hit. This often make zombies resilient to death, requiring more actions to kill.
