About alioramus[edit | edit source]

Alioramus, which means "different branch", are a dinosaur beast found in the jungles of Chult, often said to be one of the most dangerous places in Faerûn. They are recognisable by their colourful crests and, characteristic of theropods, three toes and claws on each limb.

Alioramus pounce on enemies, using their sharp teeth to bite and deal piercing damage. The alioramus colossa can also drive its pack into a Mating Frenzy Mating Frenzy to give them additional damage and resistances.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Alioramus is a real genus of tyrannosaurid theropod dinosaur.
  • Alioramus use a similar model to the dilophosaurus used for Crimson and Wild Shape: Dilophosaurus Wild Shape: Dilophosaurus (also a real dinosaur from the same clade, theropoda).
  • The alioramus and dilophosaurus models were designed by character artist Luna Wullaert.
