South-west of the grotto, this unnamed area is unremarkable save for the empty giant bird nest.
Guardian Gate[edit | edit source]
As reward for the quest Defeat the Duergar Intruders, Sovereign Spaw will unlock the gate. It can otherwise be destroyed to enter the room beyond, but not lock-picked. Alternatively it can be opened by using . Inside is some loot and the Pale Corpse of Xargrim which can be spoken to with .
