Gretta

Gretta is a rock gnome Flaming Fist who appears in Last Light Inn. She is initially under the command of Counsellor Florrick, with orders to rescue Duke Ravengard.

Involvement

Last Light Inn

Initially on a mission led by Florrick to rescue Duke Ravengard, Gretta and the rest of the Fists were waylaid by the dangers of the Shadow-Cursed Lands and found refuge with the Harpers at Last Light Inn. Gretta can initially be found within Last Light Inn, in the same room as several other Fists, and Art Cullagh.

If Florrick wasn't rescued from Waukeen's Rest in Act One, Gretta will never appear in the game.

Resolve the Abduction

When Flaming Fist Marcus attacks the inn and attempts to kidnap Isobel during Resolve the Abduction, Gretta will be incapacitated by a Winged Horror before the party can react, and become  Impaled for the remainder of the battle. If the party fails to protect Isobel, she and everyone in Last Light Inn will turn into a  Shadow-Cursed Undead, save for Jaheira.

Assault Moonrise Towers

Main article: Infiltrate Moonrise Towers

If the party successfully prevented Marcus from capturing Isobel at the Last Light Inn, and once the Nightsong has been freed from her cage and is headed for Moonrise, Gretta will be among the Fists left by Florrick to follow Jaheira to Moonrise Towers. However, Gretta is killed during the initial fight against Absolute forces before the party can arrive. Her corpse is on the bridge leading to Moonrise Towers, implying she was amongst the first to fall in battle.

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

 Piercing Shot ()   –  Hand Crossbow

Normal weapon damage

Deal regular damage and possibly inflict  Gaping Wounds which cause extra damage on attacks.

Undead and Constructs can't receive Gaping Wounds.

CON Save

 Range: Normal weapon range

Recharge: Short rest

 Mobile Shot ()   –  Hand Crossbow

1d6 (1~6) + Dexterity modifier Piercing

Make a Ranged Attack while moving. Prerequisite: Must have  Dashed or  Disengaged this turn.

 Range: 15 m / 50 ft

Recharge: Short rest

• Gretta has four level 1 spell slots, and two level 2 spell slots, despite having no spell to cast.
• As of Patch 6, despite having Extra Attack, Gretta is not able to attack twice during her turns.
