Bulettes are a type of Monstrosity creature in Baldur's Gate 3. They are armored monsters that can suddenly erupt from the ground to strike.
About Bulettes
Bulettes are extremely dangerous large monstrosities that burrow underground and erupt to unexpectedly attack their prey. They have natural armor in the from of thick layered plates over their body. Bulettes are normally native to hilly environments but can be found in a variety of locations. Bulettes are sometimes called Landsharks.
Notes
- A Bulette's Territorial ability makes them prioritize other Monstrosity creatures. This can be used to the player's advantage to get Bulettes to fight other creatures.
Abilities if controlled by Glut
- Dash
- Disengage
- Jump
- Bite: 8-52 Piercing damage, and may push the target back 1.5m. Action.
- Deadly Leap: 14-44 damage, Leaps to the target, pushing them back and possibly making them fall Prone. STR Save, 18m range. Bonus Action.
- Corrosive Phlegm: 5-19 Acid damage, and can inflict the Acid condition reducing AC by 2 for 3 turns. Action.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: A Bulette is very big, and unlike many other Underdark creatures that Glut can control it cannot use climbing apparatus like ladders. You may find it difficult to move through constricted areas and will need to use its Jump quite frequently (which has quite a good range); however it is one of the toughest and highest-damage creatures that Glut can control.
