Phase Spiders are a type of Monstrosity creature in Baldur's Gate 3. They can phase teleport to travel short distances instantly.

In-Game Description

Phase Spiders are giant spiders with the ability to phase in and out of the Ethereal Plane. This ability allows Phase Spiders to travel short distances very quickly, and can appear like the creature is teleporting.

Attacks and Abilities

Strategy

Phase spiders are slippery opponents, capable of striking at great distances and bypassing control and area-denial effects like Spike Growth Spike Growth using their Ethereal Jaunt Ethereal Jaunt ability. Unprepared parties will have even more difficulty closing gaps if they cannot cross the webbed surfaces in the spiders' lair. Items like Disintegrating Night Walkers or Spiderstep Boots will help melee attackers overcome these obstacles.

Poison Resistance Poison Resistance goes a long way to boosting survivability, as all of their attacks rely heavily on poison damage.
