Shadow Mastiff Alpha is a monstrosity creature encountered in Act Two.

This monstrous dog, composed of shadow and sinew, is always hostile. It appears out of the shadows alongside three Shadow Mastiffs in the Ruined Battlefield, near X: -49 Y: 36, when the nearby ever-burning torches are destroyed.

While slightly more powerful than the Shadow Mastiff, they are physically identical, using the same in-game model.
