Act One
Over-world
Wilderness
The Wilderness is a heavily forested region in Elturgard, encompassing a section of the Risen Road and part of the River Chionthar.
An abandoned village, now occupied by goblins.
A sacred grove and home to druids, and temporary refuge for a group of tiefling refugees.
An old Selûnite temple in use as a base of operations for the Cult of the Absolute.
A trail at the edge of the wilderness, leading off to Rosymorn Monastery.
A large ruin near to the grove, with the remnants of what was once a chapel.
A beach along the river Chionthar, now strewn with the remains of a crashed Nautiloid.
Picturesque wetlands that give way to a Putrid Bog when held under scrutiny.
A long stretch of road that connects Elturel and Baldur's Gate, running parallel to the river Chionthar.
An inn on the Risen Road, in flames after an assault from the Absolute.
Rosymorn Monastery Trail
A pilgrimage trail leading between the wilderness, Rosymorn Monastary and the Shadow-Cursed Lands
A seculded monastery for monks of Lathander
Rosymorn Monastery's living quarters, transformed into a githyanki base.
Under-world
Underdark
The Underdark is a vast system of caverns and tunnels beneath the surface, home to the drow, duergar and deep gnomes.
An isolated wizard tower protected by Arcane Cannons.
Home of the myconids, lead by Sovereign Spaw.
An abandoned village on a beach beside the Ebonlake.
A cavernous hollow growing a large Sussur tree.
A hidden cove, home to followers of BOOOAL
An abandoned outpost which previously housed followers of Selûne.
A lone storehouse with an elevator leading to the surface
The legendary Grymforge, built by Sharran worshippers in times past.

A flying illithid ship visited during the prologue, travelling through the Hells.
A small section of the Astral Sea.
Act Two
Over-world
Shadow-Cursed Lands
The Shadow-Cursed Lands is a region shrouded in its namesake shadow curse, encompassing Reithwin Town and a large, Ruined Battlefield.
A large battlefield spanning half the region, with remnants of a conflict from before the shadow curse.
A sanctuary within the Shadow-Cursed Lands, currently occupied by Harpers and members of the Flaming Fist.
A now empty town, previously home to followers of Selûne and the Thorm family.
The Thorm family mausoleum, resting place of Melodia Thorm and entrance to the Gauntlet of Shar.
The seat of the Absolute and base of their operations, located south of Reithwin Town.
Other planes of existence
A plane of shadows and domain of Shar.
Act Three
Over-world
Rivington
The southern-most district of Baldur's Gate, located on the southern shore of the River Chionthar and south of of Wyrm's Crossing.
The home of toymaker Arfur Gregorio
A temple dedicated to Ilmater, grieving after the loss of their head priest.
A large barn, currently in use as storage for refugee requisitions.
An intermediate checkpoint between Rivington and Wyrm's Crossing.
Rivington's post office, complete with pigeon carriers.
A weapons and armour store, run by Gyldro Angleiron and his clerk Exxvikyap.
Wyrm's Crossing
A crossing between Rivington and the Lower City of Baldur's Gate.
A weapons and armour store owned by Entharl Danthelon, as well as a front to a Harper hideout.
A house of pleasure run by Mamzell Amira and Kira.
An island-fortress which serves as one of the Flaming Fist's headquarters.
Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate is a large city, settled along the bank of the River Chionthar and one of its natural bays.
Lower City
The mercantile hub and southernmost region of the port-side city of Baldur's Gate.

The Lower City's graveyard, housing several mausoleums and a morgue.
A healing house run by Sharran cultists, and aboveground facade to their cloister.
The home of Lady Jannath and her husband, the artist Oskar Fevras.
A cursed ship docked at Greyharbour.
A somewhat rundown house and hideout for a group of hag survivors.
Factory for Gortash's Steel Watch, found near the Grey Harbour.
A large magical marketplace, run by the renound wizard Lorroakan.
A house of worship in the north-eastern part of the city.
A large tavern with an old ship's bow protruding from the side.
A small festival taking place on the Highberry's home porch, hosted by Cora Highberry.
Headquarters of the Society of Brilliance, perched high above the Greyharbour Docks.

The remains of an old city, located in a vast cavern beneath Baldur's Gate.
Upper City
A wealthy region in Baldur's Gate, home to its patriar families.
