Involvement

Yannis can be found arguing with Investigator Valeria in the Open Hand Temple. She believes that Brilgor, the refugee accused of killing Father Lorgan, is innocent but Valeria disagrees and leaves the temple. The party can then approach her and ask what the disagreement was about. Yannis explains the details and is willing to let them try their hand at investigating too - but forewarns them that they'll need to gather very convincing evidence to change Valeria's mind. Agreeing to take up the investigation grants the Assistant to the Extra-Planar Agent inspiration for those with the Sage Background.

The party can also ask Yannis about the location of Shira Clarwen in order to complete  Help the Spirit of the Amulet quest. She will direct them to the crypt in the basement since Shira died a year ago.
