Involvement
Sister Vanessa is one of surgical assistants of Malus Thorm in the House of Healing. Along with three other Undead Nurses ( Anya, Geanne and Hunna) she is trying to grasp the 'science' provided by Malus Thorm, Shar's Scalpel and master all its ins and outs - literally, on a still alive patient.
When the party encounters Sister Vanessa, she and the other three undead nurses cannot be spoken to directly because approaching the group immediately triggers the dialogue with Malus Thorm himself.
During the dialogue, the party may (among other options) convince Malus Thorm to order the nurses to kill each other or to to operate on himself. Should the party choose the latter, Sister Geanne remains neutral after the surgeon's demise. She then begins to wander around the auditorium, dropping philosophical phrases about patients, healing and Thorm's fate. If attacked afterwards, other Undead Nurses around come to her aid.
Sister Vanessa is the only one of her colleagues that cannot be spoken to after Malus Thorm's final death. Instead, there is a Narrator line suggesting Vanessa either has nothing to say or is totally dumb.
