Spiders are a type of Beast and non-playable race in Baldur's Gate 3.

About spiders[edit | edit source]

Spiders are a type of arthropod that can create Web Web surfaces.

Spiders are often kept by Drow, as familiars or mounts. The most influential drow goddess, Lolth, is also known as the Queen of Spiders. Cultures that revere Lolth forbid killing spiders.

Non-hostile Spiders can be spoken to using Speak with Animals Speak with Animals. A spider companion, Aranea (Wolf Spider Companion) Aranea (Wolf Spider Companion), is available to Beast Master Rangers.
