Being a Drow and follower of the Absolute,
Minthara has a highly hostile and cruel attitude towards other beings, considering pretty much everyone as inferior. She has a special disdain for those who do not share her beliefs, and as a drow noble, she holds drow characters in high regard.
The actions and choices listed on this page will raise or lower Minthara's Approval.

Greetings
Depending on their approval rating, Minthara may greet the player with:
Very Low (-40 or less)[Needs Verification]

The following story and dialogue choices will cause Minthara to gain approval.
Act Two

Last Light Inn
- Refuse to drink Jaheira's truth-serum dosed wine.
- Inform Isobel that Marcus is a true soul.
- Ask Marcus for more information, and then tell Isobel that he's trying to kidnap her.
Shadowed Battlefield
House of Healing
- Persuade Malus Thorm to have the Sisters "operate" on each other or on his person.
- Persuade Malus Thorm to have the Sisters "operate" on him.
- After the Sisters have "operated" on each other, persuade Malus Thorm to "operate" on himself.
- As a Paladin, tell Malus Thorm that you are duty bound to end him.
The Waning Moon
- Refuse to drink with Thisobald Thorm.
- Successfully drink with Thisobald Thorm (rather than choosing the Slight of Hand check to fake it). (Works up to 3 times)
- Tell Thisobald Thorm any tale, including a fabricated one. (Works up to 2 times)
Reithwin Tollhouse
- Select "I bring death" when talking to Gerringothe Thorm.
- Successfully defeat Gerringothe through dialogue.
Gauntlet of Shar
- Persuade Nessa that her 'love' for Yurgir is the result of being magically dosed.
- Encourage Shadowheart to to kill the Nightsong.
Mind Flayer Colony
- Purge the pods in the Tadpoling Centre. +1
- Consume the mind of the githzerai Waking Mind. +1
- Tell the Fresh Mind it will never wake again. +1
Moonrise Towers
- Sever the control Linsella has over the gnolls in the kitchen. +1
- Pass a deception check on Zrell if you chose to spare the goblins at the end of Minthara's trial. +1
- When Minthara sits on the throne after defeating Ketheric:
- Say that it suits her. +3
- Say that you make a good team. +5
- Propose to kill Orin and Gortash and take their place as leader of the Absolute.
- When Minthara asks why you chose to kill the tieflings in the Grove:
- Say that you attacked the Grove to impress her. +3
- Tell her that you helped her to learn more about the tadpoles.

- Tell her you wanted revenge on those who did this to you.
- When discussing how Ketheric trapped her, tell her "Understanding. Ketheric gave you the welcome you felt you deserved."
- Tell her "You will have your revenge" on Orin for inserting a tadpole in her.
- Ask "You respected him?" when discussing Ketheric's daeth.
Camp/Conversation
- When talking to her about remembering what she did while serving the Absolute respond with “To Lose your free will and be forced to kill. That must be horrible.” +5
- When talking about the time she invaded Moonrise, say that pride can be a great weakness.
- Say that you will help on her revenge.
- Ask if she respects Ketheric.
- Tell her "A dangerous upbringing. It made you strong." +1
- Be flattered when she mentions that she didn't expect another outcast from the Underdark, you. +3

Rivington
- Choosing not to help Yenna when she approaches you at Rivington. +1
- Choosing to give Yenna 5 gold when she approaches you at Rivington. +1
- Choosing to give Yenna food when she approaches you at Rivington +1
- Tell the Strange Ox that "It takes more than a bit of gore to turn my gullet." +1
- Acknowledge to Fist Rowan that both sides need to learn their lesson by killing them all. +1
- Promise to protect her from Orin. +5
- Telling the smith that you would turn your blade on the closest of you. +1
- Leaving Scratch with Mar'hyah. +1
- Threaten the guard at the checkpoint. +1
Circus of the Last Days
- "Boo" at Dribbles the Clown's performance at the Circus. +1
- Applaud Dribbles' scarecrow joke. +1
- Refuse to get onto the stage. +1
- Get onto Dribbles' stage and say what makes you special:
- Your kindness to everyone. +1
- Your courage. +1
- Your strength. +1
- Prompt her to the stage with the drider joke. +1
- Suggest Astarion to get onto the stage. +1
- Suggest Lae'zel to get onto the stage. +2
- Saying during the love test of Zenthino:
- She misses the food. +1
- She misses picking off her siblings. +1
- She is admiring nobody. +1
- She is admiring you. +2
- That she was captured by the cult because of love. +2
Open Hand Temple
- Agree with Brother Bill that if Father Logan had been pickier, he might still be alive. +1
- Refuse to take on the curse of the spirit in the amulet. +1
- Resist the madness when accepting the monk's curse after delivering his amulet.
Wyrm's Crossing
- Accept or reject the Deal with the Gnomes quest from Manip Falcäo +1
- Get access to Wyrm's Rock Fortress with the Lower City Pass or Admission Pass. +1
- Threaten Fist Reynash with blackmailing. +1
- Tell Manip Bakshi that Reynash was thieving the belonings of the guards. +1
- Confront Manip Bakshi that they aren't good as guards. +2
- Get Arkleia Oloril into trading the equipment of the Flaming Fists with you. +1
- Say that you should not trust the Steel Watchers because they will turn on everyone while talking to Lord Amber's Bodyguard, Lady Durinbold's Attendant and Lord Shattershield's Attendant. +1
Wyrm's Rock Fortress
- As the Dark Urge, during the inauguration and after Gortash explains how he has met you before, reply, "How dare Orin take my place. I'll make her pay."
- As the Dark Urge, during the inauguration and after Gortash explains how he has met you before, reply, "I don't remember a thing, but the plan sounds brilliant!"
- Refuse twice to give Gortash the Netherstones. +1
Devil's Fee
- After visiting the House of Hope, tell Helsik you don't have the Gauntlets, then intimidate her when she demands the fee she initially proposed. +1
Cazador's Dungeon
- Tell Sebastian you have no intention of freeing the spawn. +1
House of Grief
- Tell Arves you've come to collect interest on his debt. +1
Camp/Conversation
- Let her read your thoughts after she hesitates to. +3
- Tell her she's special. +3
- See her as a lover while she reads your thoughts. +10
- Let her use the Astral-Touched Tadpole. +5
- Acknowledge that children should earn their keep. +3
- When talking about Menzoberranzan, tell her that her upbringing made her strong. +1
- Ask her why not to take the head of the next urchin. +1
- When talking about how she got involved with the Cult of the Absolute:
- Tell her that pride can be a weakness.
- Tell her that she will have her revenge against Orin.
- After revealing your origin as the Dark Urge, tell her that she also exquisite. +5
- Telling Scratch he's back where he belongs after giving him back to Mar'hyah and then freeing him from his cage and letting him escape back to camp.
- Persuade Lae'zel to kneel to Vlaakith when she appears at your camp.
- When asking her if she has seen anything like the Steel Watchers before, tell her you wish you had such devices of your own. +1

- Tell Isobel she is going to "meet Ketheric face-to-face" when helping Marcus abduct her.

- Lick the suspicious spider carcass.
Moonrise Towers
- Disagree with Minthara's plans of taking over control of the Absolute.
- When Minthara asks why you chose to kill the tieflings in the Grove:
- Tell her you did it to watch them suffer.
- Tell her you enjoy killing.
- Tell her a violent urge is the cause.
