Walkthrough
Manip Falcäo can be found at the South Span Checkpoint. The quest is triggered after the party approaches the checkpoint and answers the Flaming Fist's questions, having the Steel Watcher scan them. As the party is about to be arrested as enemies of the Absolute, a group of rebel gnomes pop up and use a Sunflash grenade to disable the machine. The Flaming Fists at the checkpoint give chase, including Manip Falcäo. Immediately after the attack, he can be found on the side of the checkpoint, unable to chase after the gnomes. Otherwise, if the party waits too long, he moves inside one of the buildings in the checkpoint (X:-11, Y:53).
Falcäo states that the gnomes have been a scourge upon his checkpoint, causing panic, and request that a brave adventurer cut them down. The Fists are unavailable to do the task, as they are busy guarding the gates for Enver Gortash's coronation. Thus, he seeks out the party to do the deed.
The gnome hideout can be accessed by climbing down a set of vines (X:38, Y:26). Climbing down starts a survival check which, if passed, shows a set of footprints leading to the cave.
After the hideout is found, the party can speak to the gnome leader, Wulbren, before cutting him down. If "The Fists sent me to crush your resistence. Time to die." is chosen, then the entire hideout becomes hostile. Or, the party can simply attack Wulbren and start the fight. Killing him and looting his body grants the item Wulbren's Head. The rest of the gnomes do not need to be killed to complete the quest.
When the player returns to Manip Falcäo, he thanks them for destroying the gnome leadership and tell them to keep their noses clean, lest they suffer the same fate.
Quest Rewards
- 800 Gold
