This article is about the weakened variation. For the normal version, see Intellect Devourer.

Intellect Devourers are a creature and a type of Aberration created by the Mind Flayers. Resembling glistening brains with four short clawed legs, they are drawn to, and feed on Intelligence, serving as guard dogs for their Illithid masters.

The ones encountered on the Ravaged Beach however are greatly weakened. lacking their full abilities and having much lower attributes. However, they can still be dangerous if they group up on a single character.
