Shadow-Cursed Needle Blights are blight creatures found in the Ruined Battlefield in Act Two.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Needle Blights, like its brethren the Shadow-Cursed Vine Blight and the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound, conceal themselves within the surrounding vegetation in order to ambush passersby. The player must pass a DC 30 Perception check to spot these ambush parties and avoid being surprised.

Needle Blights are small, fragile, and numerous, acting as frontline enemies during their encounters. Their Needle Burst Needle Burst on death can chain together if many blights are caught in the radius, dealing massive damage to enemies and allies alike.

They apply Shadow-Cursed Vines Shadow-Cursed Vines to the terrain surrounding their corpse on death.
