For the non-playable Race and enemy see Skeleton.

Skeletons are a type of Undead creature found in Baldur's Gate 3. They serve as foot soldiers for Necromancers after being raised from corpses. They carry short bows that deal extra Necrotic damage.

About[edit | edit source]

Skeletons can be created through the spell Animate Dead Animate Dead, a level three spell available to level 5 Clerics, Wizards, Pact of the Tome Warlocks and Circle of the Spores Druids. The spell is also available to level 9 Oathbreaker Paladins. The spell can also be cast with a common Scroll of Animate Dead.
