Arcane Trickster is a Subclass of Rogue. These Rogues are capable of spellcasting (from the Wizard spell list) and use their spells to attack enemies or support allies in combat. Arcane Tricksters use Intelligence as their spellcasting modifier.
Subclass features
This subclass obtains all the features from its base class, Rogue, in addition to its unique features outlined below.Level 3
- When you cast Mage Hand, the spectral hand is invisible and can carry out additional tasks.
- Your mage hand can stow away or retrieve objects carried by other creatures and use Thieves' Tools at range.
- As shown the Mage Hand will now last forever until it is destroyed or dismissed.

- Arcane Trickster Spells are Always Prepared.
- Level 1 Spell Slots Unlocked: 2
- You gain two Level 1 Spell Slots.
- Learn the cantrip
- Cantrips Known: 2
- Choose 2 Cantrips from the Wizard spell list.
- Known Spells
- Choose 2 Spells from the Wizard spell list (schools of Enchantment or Illusion only) up to Level 1. These spells are Always Prepared.
- Choose 1 Spell from the Wizard spell list (any spell school) up to Level 1. This spell is Always Prepared.
- New Cantrips available
- New Level 1 Enchantment and Illusion spells available
- New 1st Level Spells available
Level 4
- Level 1 Spell Slots Unlocked: 3
- You gain an additional Level 1 Spell Slot.
- Known Spells
- Choose 1 Spell from the Arcane Trickster spell list (schools of Enchantment or Illusion only). This spell is Always Prepared.
- Replacement Spell (Optional)
- Choose 1 known spell and replace it with another Spell from the full Wizard spell list. The replacement spell must still be of a level for which the Arcane Trickster has spell slots.
Level 5
- Replacement Spell (Optional)
- Choose 1 known spell and replace it with another Spell from the full Wizard spell list. The replacement spell must still be of a level for which the Arcane Trickster has spell slots.
Level 6

- Choose 1 known spell and replace it with another Spell from the full Wizard spell list. The replacement spell must still be of a level for which the Arcane Trickster has spell slots.
