Travel to Moonrise Towers is part of the Main Quest in Act One main quest. It can be initiated by talking to Halsin or Minthara, depending on the player's choice and outcome of the quest Save the Refugees, after each branch's respective celebration at the Campsite.

Objectives

Objectives and journal entries may vary pending player decisions and outcomes.

Find a way to Moonrise Towers.
  • Read Halsin's diary: We found a diary written by the druid Halsin. In it, he writes about the parasites originating in Moonrise Towers.
  • Halsin believed that the parasites are coming from Moonrise Towers.
  • Halsin said the parasite has been altered by the followers of the Absolute. If we want answers, we need to head to their base at Moonrise Towers.
  • Halsin said that the illithid parasites had been altered by followers of the Absolute. If we want answers, we need to head to the cult's base at Moonrise Towers.
  • A druid named Halsin said that the illithid parasites had been altered by followers of the Absolute. If we want answers, we need to head to the cult's base at Moonrise Towers.
  • We learned of one way to get to Moonrise Towers: through the Underdark.
