Status groups are groups a condition may belong to. Status groups can define certain behavior for the conditions or simply be used as markers for interaction. For example SG_FreezeDuration prevents a condition from losing it's duration over time, while SG_Cursed marks a condition for things like Remove Curse Remove Curse.

While blinded by one of these conditions, many reactions will be unavailable such as Opportunity Attack Opportunity Attack, Hellish Rebuke Hellish Rebuke, or Deflect Missiles Deflect Missiles. Creatures who do not rely on vision will generally be immune to all blinding conditions.
