Does anyone know what happens if you pickpocket it back from Derryth?

I tried giving it to another party member to give back to her (as if you didn't already give it), but it doesn't leave your inventory. It doesn't give me an option to sell it back to her either.

Sovereign Glut

If you have glut in your party it can walk through the mushroom field without it exploding. allowing you to collect the noblestalk with no risk. He can "move" objects. 207.55.88.98 08:38, 29 July 2024 (CEST)

Exploit patched

"It is possible to restore Shadowheart's memories without her consuming the Noblestalk by removing it from the inventory of the party members before talking to Shadowheart, through sending it to camp or dropping it on the ground. Then it is still possible to convince her to eat it. This is because, at this point of the game, the dialogue only checks the flag for being in possession of the Noblestalk but not if the Noblestalk is really in the inventory of one of the party members. This flag in not removed until certain events, like giving it to Derryth or Thulla."

This appears to have been patched; The dialogue option does not appear if the Noblestock is not in an active party member's inventory. If you try to cheese it by dropping the Nolbestock mid-conversation, you get an error message: "This option is lo longer available" 76.180.115.98 17:48, 1 January 2025 (CET)

I just tried this on the 2nd of January 2025 with all updates applied and it still works. Specifically I did the following:

Once you have the Noblestalk you can talk to Shadowheart and get her to eat it. Before you do, have one companion outside of the conversation range. You can then get her to use it while still saving it for Derryth. Once the options to convince her (by persuasion or intimidation) are presented, before you choose, swap out of the conversation to the companion standing at a distance, tab to bring up all 4 companions and move the Noblestalk from the PC to the companion standing away. Close the 4 tabs and go the companion now carrying the Noblestalk; have them drop it on the ground. Go back to the PC. The conversation can proceed as normal and extra quest line with Shadowheart will still be unlocked while preserving the Noblestalk for Derryth. Raelin (talk) 19:52, 1 January 2025 (CET)
