A spectator is a lesser type of [[Beholder]]. They are floating creatures with a single huge eye and four eyestalks, unlike the ten of a [[Beholder]], from which they shoot forth deadly or debilitating ray attacks. The spectator's multiple eyestalks allow it to fire multiple beams per turn.
In [[Patch Notes|Patch #7]], the spectator gained a Legendary Action. When struck, the Spectator will accumulate stacks of {{Cond|Paranoid Dreams}}. When it reaches 5 stacks, it will use its reaction to cast {{SAI|Ocular Nightmare}}. The Legendary Action can be avoided by removing stacks of Paranoid Dreams, either by waiting for it to cast a ray attack or by intentionally moving close to the Spectator to trigger {{Cond|Panicked Sentinel}}. Any ray attack reduces Paranoid Dreams counter by 1.
