The Enclave Library is a Location within the Emerald Grove in Act One of Baldur's Gate 3. It is filled with ancient tablets containing secret and sacred druidic knowledge.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Access[edit | edit source]

The main entrance to the Enclave Library is granted by Nettie Nettie through a door in the Druids' Chambers at X: -440 Y: 9. After speaking with Nettie in the Druids' Chambers, she leads the party into the Enclave Library and offers advancement for Get Help from Healer Nettie Get Help from Healer Nettie and Rescue the Druid Halsin Rescue the Druid Halsin. Based on the party's interactions with her, Nettie may offer them a flask of poison or attempt to poison the player character. If Nettie dies, her death is not immediately known to other members of the Emerald Grove.

If Nettie dies, the library door can be opened or closed by equipping her headgear. An alternate entry to the Enclave Library can be accessed through the Underground Passage door at X: -408 Y: -186 and wearing the Key of the Ancients.

Dissected drow[edit | edit source]

On a nearby stone bed is the dead drow ranger, Ned'Cirannis Ned'Cirannis, who died in a scouting attack against the druids. The party can speak with him via Speak with Dead Speak with Dead to learn more about the Cult of the Absolute. His Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen is on the nearby stone table.

Enclave library puzzle[edit | edit source]

The center of the Enclave Library contains a large wolf statue surrounded by four pedestals. One of the pedestals is missing a tablet, the Rune of the Wolf. Obtain the missing tablet to complete this puzzle.

The Rune of the Wolf can be obtained by speaking with Rath Rath after completing Save the First Druid Save the First Druid, by pickpocketing, or by looting his corpse. Once the tablet is in the party's possession, interacting with the empty pedestal will place the tablet into the slot. Each pedestal can be activated by interacting with them. When all tablets are lit up, the floor around the status transforms into a staircase leading to the Hidden Vault, rewarding the party 10 XP.
