Notes

  • When the Hastened Hastened effect ends, affected creatures normally receive the Lethargic Lethargic condition, causing them to miss their next turn.
  • Using another Potion of Speed while already Hastened can practically delay the Lethargic condition. When you use a new Potion of Speed, the Hastened effect of the old one ends immediately, applying Lethargic right away, but it only lasts until the end of the current turn. So, if you make sure to use all other actions in a turn before using the new Potion of Speed (e.g. use your last Bonus Action to drink the new one), then you practically won't lose any actions.
