Oubliette is an area under Moonrise Towers Prison. Shrouded in shadow and covered in bloody viscera, it houses prisoners of the Cult of the Absolute, both living and dead.

Overview
Oubliette can be reached in multiple ways:
- From Moonrise Towers Prison, it can be reached by jumping into the pit at Moonrise Towers PrisonX: 580 Y: -690, or by jumping into the hole in Cell Three X: 579 Y: -616, or by descending the Cragged Rock at Moonrise Towers PrisonX: 503 Y: -617
- From Moonrise Towers, it can be reached by submitting to or failing the checks to escape the cracked wallX: -126 Y: -177.
- If the player progresses through Reithwin TownX: -290 Y: -14 on the Road to Baldur's Gate before Ketheric Thorm is defeated, the player will be given the choice to continue ahead or turn back; if the player chooses to continue, they will be immediately transported to the Oubliette.
Although the oubliette is in the same area map as the Mind Flayer Colony, they are separated areas. The colony may only be reached after defeating Ketheric on top of Moonrise Towers, and the oubliette cannot be reached from the colony.

- The body of Zealot Krizt at X: 625 Y: -89 contains a Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen
- The player can Goblin at X: 639 Y: -79. A former True Soul, he sheds light on the true fate that befalls believers of the Absolute who "ascend" on a dead
