The Tiefling Refugees are a group of Tieflings trying to reach Baldur's Gate after being exiled from Elturel.

Blood has followed us since Elturel. I just want to leave this place and never look back.
Locke

Background

Shortly before the events of Baldur's Gate 3, the city of Elturel was temporarily dragged into Avernus as part of a demonic plot. Afterwards, Elturel's Tiefling population was falsely blamed for the incident. The increased prejudice forced most of them to leave the city.

Act One

The refugees are camped out in the Emerald Grove, but tensions are rising between them and the Druids. Without intervention, they'll soon be forced back on the road by the Rite of Thorns.

Nymessa and Damays, found in the northeast of the WildernessX: 237 Y: 371, can be Persuaded by a non-Drow or Githyanki player to give directions to their camp.
